Participants were able to join both in person and online. The seminar focused on the critical topic of domestic violence and legal support for survivors.

- What to do in situations of domestic violence and where to seek help
- What happens when the police are called
- How to obtain a protective order
- What assistance and compensation are available to survivors
- Legal consequences for abusers
- Rights of victims without immigration status (including U-Visa and VAWA)
- Divorce and legal separation: what you need to know
- The role of the District Attorney’s Office in supporting survivors

The seminar also featured a special guest, Lyubomyr Benedyuk, an Investigator with the Placer County District Attorney’s Office, who answered participants’ questions and provided practical insights on working with law enforcement.
