MISI and Dignity Health Partner to Promote Child Safety in Sacramento
Sacramento, CA – October 2025 – MISI proudly partnered with Dignity Health for a special community event focused on child safety and family well-being. The event took place in MISI’s Sacramento office and brought together families, parents, and community members for an educational and empowering day of learning.
Dignity Health conducted a comprehensive, hands-on training session on the proper setup and fastening of car seats and boosters, helping parents and caregivers ensure the safety and protection of their children while on the road. Participants received personalized guidance on how to correctly install and secure car seats, gaining confidence in their ability to keep their little ones safe.
Following the training, 15 car seats and boosters were distributed to families in need an initiative that directly supports MISI’s mission of strengthening families and promoting safety within the Afghan and broader refugee communities.
“This event was about more than just safety. It was about care, education, and community,” said Mr. Nasir Shahim of MISI. “We’re thankful to Dignity Health for their dedication and partnership in helping us protect our children and empower parents.”
The event concluded with smiles, new knowledge, and a renewed sense of community connection.
